Servus!!
This week was full of lots of good things with a great pday (sorry for the photo dump), my last Zone Conference, a Tausch with Sister Sefcik, and an Ausstellung in Wiener Neustadt. Not to mention, the number of new people we had at church this week!
It was kind of crazy, actually. We were greeting the members when some guy walks in and shakes Bishop’s hand. Bishop figures he is one of our friends and leads him over, but we have no idea who he is. We ask his name, and it turns out he was a FindeChristus referral that we dropped off a Book of Mormon to a couple of weeks ago! He wasn’t there when we left the book, but we left a note with our number and the address/time of church and he decided to come. His German isn’t the best, but we got him a book in his native language and we are planning on meeting together again.
In the chaos of that and right before we were going to start, two more people walk in and go into the chapel. They were definitely a couple and at first I just thought they were members visiting. After the meeting, we went over to say hi, and we learned that it was a member from Norway bringing her boyfriend who lived here to church! He didn’t know much about our faith but told us he was actively looking for answers to question he has. We were able to chat with them for a bit before making an appointment (a member also joined in the chat and agreed to come to the lesson). A pretty crazy Sunday overall.
The amazingness kept going with several people talking to us on trains. We were crocheting hats on the train to Graz, and two different people asked what we were doing and we could explain why we were here. Then, just this morning, someone saw us and said he saw some women with the tag yesterday, and wanted to know what it meant. We were able to explain to him, and he said he would love to meet up to chat about it more.
Several miracles this week that just testify to me that God is there in the details and us working in each of His children’s lives to prepare them. His plan is perfect and greater than I can understand, but I know that He loves all of us.
I hope you all have a great week!
