Called to Serve

Week 30

Leaving Wien

Guten Tag, liebe Familie und Freunde!! I have got some news this week, we got transfer calls and I am leaving Vienna to go to… Burgdorf, Switzerland!! I will be whitewashing the area with Sister Clark who is currently serving in Salzburg Zone and is one transfer younger than me on the mission. Another Sister will replace me here in Wien Liesing and finish Sister Nelson’s training. It is extremely bittersweet to leave this area that I have served about 6 months in, all of the amazing members and friends that I have met and had the opportunity to share the gospel with are close to my heart and saying goodbye is hard!

Week 29

Dankbar

Guten Tag Familie und Freunde!! I feel like every week I say we had a busy or crazy week, but it always seems to be true! Although this week does seem to be a little more than usual. This week involved several long distance trips, I have never spent so long on trains, buses, and cars. It began with our trip to Salzburg last P-day, which was a blast. It is about 2.

Week 28

Learning the Lessons

Guten Tag liebe Familie und Freunde! We had a pretty awesome week over here. Super busy, but in the best way possible. We also had Zone Conference and it was amazing as usual. What goes along with Zone Conference though, is interviews with President. A few weeks ago, he let us know that at interviews he would be testing our knowledge on the first two lessons. He expected each of the points to be memorized as well as a scripture reference and description for each point.

Week 27

Fixing Roofs

Hallo liebe Familie und Freunde!! This has been quite a week, and a lot of good lessons have been learned. The story I would like to share with you all today is about roofs. So, for the past month our church building has been surrounded by scaffolding due to some repairs being done on the roof – I am not exactly sure of what sort. This is all fine and well, albeit a little annoying at times and it blocks the view.

Week 26

A Listening Ear

Hallo liebe Familie und Freunde!! What a week! We are really using that new missionary fire that my comp has to work as hard as possible, filling every minute of the day. Or trying to – we had several last minute cancelations this past week from friends and members, kind of rough. But we have also been able to have some great time for street finding! On Sunday we went street finding and we had about an hour of time.
