Servus!
Last week at our Zone Council we set a goal to do more finding, and oh boy have we done that. We have been able to hit the streets every day, and since the weather is so nice, that also necessitates ice cream afterwards (we are working through all the flavors at this specific shop). Being on the streets so much has allowed us to see many small miracles.
We found a kind Hungarian woman who had met with the Elders years ago and agreed to dust off her Book of Mormon and read some, thanking us for chatting with her.
We found a woman who insisted that she didn’t want to talk about Jesus, but then proceeded to have a conversation with us about Him and left smiling.
We knocked on the door of a young adult student who gladly took a Book of Mormon and said that she was studying right then, but would love to have us over later.
Lots of little things that show me that God loves every single one of His children and keeps them in mind. It reminds me of a scripture I recently read in personal study, 2 Nephi 26:33. “…he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God…”
God wants us to be happy and feel His love, He gives of it so freely to every single one of His children that choose to come to Him. That means me and you and everyone that we run into on the street. God is our loving Heavenly Father.
I hope you all have a fantastic week!
