Servus!!
This week we had several opportunities to work with youth and teenagers, and it was pretty cool. On Saturday, we helped set up and decorate for a Stake Youth Day in our building and got to chat with some young women – they are all so sweet. I love working with the youth, they are all so excited to do missionary work!
Our other awesome experience was Friday. There was an entire school class of about 13 kids around 14-15 years old that came to our church building just so we, along with our Bishop, could answer some of their question about out church. We spoke to them for about an hour and gave some background of the restoration, talked about our church service, and showed them the baptismal font. At the end, 7 of them took Book of Mormons that we had the youth in our ward prepare with testimonies and marked up passages. And, the teachers told us that they would be interested in doing it again. It was kind of a surreal experience, but we hope it helped some of those kids come closer to Christ.
We also went on exchanges this week with the Liesing Sisters, so I got to be back in Wien for a day! It was kinda crazy sleeping in the same bed that I slept in for 6 months last year and Sister Swenson and I had a great time – we also ate some really good ice cream and went out for french toast for breakfast.
And last, but not least, we got transfer calls!! Unfortunately, Sister Martin will be leaving to go back to Switzerland :( I’m gonna miss her. I’ll be staying here in Wiener Neustadt and I will be getting Sister Knecht!! We served together in Munich Zone for 2 transfers and I’m excited to serve with her again and I am definitely I little grateful I don’t have to move again.
I hope you all have a great week!
