Servus alle!!

This week, we had the amazing opportunity to plan and execute the baptismal service for our little friend. She really is the cutest and we are so proud of her for taking this step to baptism, as well as standing up before the ward to bear her testimony. It was a beautiful service and Taufe, and we were able to invite another one of our friends to come watch – this prompted her to tell us that she is so excited for her baptism as well. We were very excited to hear that and will be working with her this week to set a date.

I feel really blessed to be able to serve here in Augsburg at this time to be able to help these people that are seeking truth. These friends are ready and willing to follow the Savior’s example, and I know it is because of nothing that I have done. It is solely due to the Lord and his Spirit that testifies of truth. I feel like I can relate to Ammon as he proclaims in Alma 26, “11 …I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God. 12 Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.”

Through God, all things are possible. I have seen that so many times throughout my mission and I know I will see it many more. My joy really is full when I see the happiness that the gospel brings to the people who want it.

In other news, we visited the Fuggerei here in Augsburg (cheap housing for the poor, catholic Augsburgers, look it up), ate some good food, did lots of street finding, and enjoyed a couple of days of warm weather before succumbing again to the cold and snow.

I hope you all have a fabulous week!!
