Moving to Augsburg

Grüessech mitenand!!

I’m gonna have to come up with a new greeting since I left Switzerland, now I will need a real German greeting.

This week has been fun, it is always exciting getting used to a new area. Augsburg is also a lot bigger than Burgdorf, big enough that we actually ward share with Elders as well. As it is with a new area though, we have had to do a lot of contacting and get to know you meetings with friends and members of the ward. So far I have loved all the people I have met.

My new companion is also super sweet, Sister Piippo is from Washington/Idaho and is always excited to work, she has so much love for all the people here too.

Another big change from last week, December has started! That means we can really start to celebrate Christmas and everything it stands for – Jesus Christ! I am so grateful for Him and for the light that he gives to the world.

“…I, the Lord God, shall say unto you, even Jesus Christ your Redeemer; 2 The light and the life of the world, a light which shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not; 3 Who so loved the world that he gave his own life, that as many as would believe might become the sons of God…” (Doctrine and Covenants 34:1-3)

He loves us so much, and this season we have the opportunity to share of this love and light with everyone around us! I invite all of you to find a way to do so before Christmas, I am happy to give suggestions if that would help.

I hope you all have an amazing week!!

Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
