Grüessech mitenand!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, cause now it is Christmas!! We already had our ward Christmas Party and the first advent is past, so now we begin to celebrate :)

There have been lots of changes the past few weeks, and those haven’t stopped. After a week being in a trio with the Biel Sisters, on Wednesday night we were able to pick up Sister Morris in Zürich. Since then, we have been trying to cram as much information on the area as possible into Sister Morris' brain. We have met with as many people as possible, socialized at multiple events, and spent hours street finding in Burgdorf (to find people we can serve and to help Sister Morris learn the area). It has really been a wild ride. It is a good thing we have been working hard, since transfer calls came Saturday morning with the news that I would be leaving and Sister Morris would be staying and getting a greenie. She will need prayers as she leads the area and trains for the first time after a surprise transfer a week ago and only a few days crash course on all things Burgdorf.

For me, on Wednesday I will be heading over to Augsburg, Germany – making 3/3 countries served in. I’ll be serving there with Sistet Piippo, who actually served in Burgdorf right before me. I am really excited and have heard lots of good things, but I am also so sad to have to leave Burgdorf. Lots of ups and downs, but I read this quote from Elder Holland that really helped me:

“Faith is for the future. Faith builds on the past but never longs to stay there. Faith trusts that God has great things in store for each of us and that Christ truly is the ‘high priest of good things to come’.”

I hope you all can also look forward with faith during this season, there really is so much good to come, thanks to our Savior.
