General Konferenz!!!

Grüessech mitenand!!

What a week, but also what a weekend!! We kicked it off with interviews with our mission President, President Naatjes, in Zürich Saturday afternoon. And while those were amazing as usual, it was only the beginning of a fabulous weekend full of so much spiritual nourishment – General Conference! 5 sessions of about two hours each full of talks from the prophet, apostles, and other leaders of the church. If you have not had the chance yet, I highly recommend checking it out.

One of my favorite parts was how much of an emphasis our prophet, President Nelson, put on going to the temple! He said that we must increase our time in the temple and focus on it like never before, even referencing the story of Jesus appearing to the Nephites at the temple. I know that the temple is the house of God and a place where we can truly get to know Him and ourselves better. It is such a blessing in these latter-days to have temples where we can make our own covenants with God as well as for those who have passed on. It is truly something that can bind us to the Lord and bless us daily in ways we cannot imagine.

Other exciting things were a Tausch this week with Zollikofen (24 hours with Sister Meyer pt. 2), lunch with our Relief Society President’s entire extended family, it rained every single day, and last week for P day we went to an underground lake. Also, I can’t believe it’s October!

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!
