Hallo zusammen!
This week, we got the incredible opportunity to go to the Bern temple twice! It was my first time going to the temple in over six months and after such a long time, it was really an amazing experience. It reminds me of this quote from Sister Jean A. Stevens: “It is in the temple that we remember who we really are and see with clarity who really can become”
I am so grateful for the chance to go to the temple and reflect about my identity as a daughter of a God who loves me beyond comprehension. It is spiritually refreshing and provided a bit of a reset after many months of hard missionary work. It was also kinda fun to do the sessions in German, I understood a lot more than I thought I would!
Some other cool things from this week:
- one of our new friends came to church again and she loved it, especially the feeling she got during the women’s meeting second hour. We also got to meet with her during the week and do some service cleaning her yard and her floors.
- we finished the puzzle we have been working on the entire transfer so far during our downtime (meals, evenings, sometimes while planning)
- we did a photoshoot for Finde Christus in under 30 minutes, lots of posing with a Book of Mormon
- lots of great member appointments, but sadly fall vacation has now started and almost everyone will be gone for the next 3 weeks. Also sadly, the transfer ends before fall vacation does
