Guten Tag Familie und Freunde!!

This week had its ups and downs. One of the best ups was having Zone Conference in Neumarkt on Friday! It was great to hear from President and Sister Naatjes again, they are super inspiring. I have many great notes such as: pray for the spiritual gifts that would perfect your imperfections; or, you’re never too busy, just too stupid. Yeah, we love President Naatjes.

Sadly, Zone Conference had one of the downs too. Our Zone was taking too long to say goodbye to the other missionaries and we missed our train home. The next direct one didn’t come for an hour so we decided to take one that would require a couple connections but would still get us home slightly sooner. It was fine until the last two hour long train ride where the train was absolutely packed. All of us had to stand in the small area between cars as people also kept trying to walk through us. My feet were stepped on many times and the drunker the people were the worse it was. The train also kept delaying itself so the ride was longer and we didn’t get back home until 11. It was a very long day and I fell asleep so fast afterwards.

But to end on another high note, we met with a potential friend yesterday for the first time (we found him in our contacts list) and had a great lesson. He had so many questions and even though he had met with missionaries before he said that we actually gave him the answers he was looking for and we taught him things about the Plan of Salvation he had never heard of (including some things that will take a little more convincing to believe). It was also kind of fun to see how much I really know about what happens after this life, but I also know the Spirit really helped me to find some supporting Bible verses and to explain in ways our friend could understand. I am really looking forward to our future appointments with him and I hope he will progress well.
