Servus!!
What a long, hot week full of lots of street finding! We went out once on our own, then we had an Ausstellung with the whole zone on Friday, and on Saturday we went out with some youth. Saturday was for the Stake Youth Day which the missionaries led, it was a blast! We had workshops in the morning where kids wrote their testimony in a Book of Mormon, did some practice teaching roleplays, learned some Spanish, and played Volleyball. Then in the afternoon we went street finding with them trying to give out the Book of Mormon and do some surveys – my group of youth did really well! It was awesome to see how outgoing and positive they were. Then we went to a trampoline park to finish off the day. The youth I have spoken with enjoyed it and the missionaries had fun as well.
I also had a lot of personal success at the Ausstellung. I was able to have lots of lessons and have the confidence to talk to way more people than I usually do. Hopefully some of the people we met will contact us back so we can meet again, that would make the Ausstellung perfect.
I have been thinking a lot lately about how we can rely on Christ when times are hard. Usually I want to be good enough and strong enough on my own, but I am learning that sometimes God will give us trials that are a little harder than we can bear on out own so that we can better understand the Atonement and the help we can receive from it. It’s often not very fun, but I know that the growth I have from going through hard things will make it all worth it.
Ich hab euch lieb, und habt eine schöne Woche!
Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
