Week 19

And The World Keeps Spinning

Posted by Kezia Tripp on Tuesday, June 14, 2022

Guten Tag liebe Familie und Freunde!

The new transfer has started and my training is over with my trainer going home. For her it was the end of her mission so there were lots of goodbyes said and lots of excitement about seeing her family, but for me it was sending her off at the train station, receiving my new comp and continuing in the work. This transfer has had a bit of a slow start but it is now beginning to speed up again.

Along with the start of the transfer, this past Sunday was the first of a church Family Month throughout all of Austria. Every ward has the same topic each Sunday that has something to do with family. It is a great opportunity here for us to invite friends and for the members to invite people they know to a meeting where the topic will be something applicable to everyone. So far there has been some great success with higher church attendance in just this first week along with more friends and less actives. Hopefully the next two Sundays are just as successful, if not more.

This Sunday was also a success for us since we were able to have an amazing lesson with one of our friends. She is a member referral so we had the great blessing of a member there to teach with us (which really helps when trying to teach in another language). We talked about the Restoration of the church and answered several of her questions, the Spirit there was so strong! She has already been attending church the last few weeks and has a lot of interest in learning more so we are very excited to see how she progresses.

I hope you all have an amazing week! Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
