Week 18

The End of Training

Posted by Kezia Tripp on Tuesday, June 7, 2022

Guten Tag!!

This transfer is just about over, which means I am done with training! It also means that my current comp/trainer is going home and I’m going to get a new one… Sister Jones! She was one of the missionaries I was in the MTC with and I’m pretty hyped for this upcoming transfer. I am a little nervous about leading the area though, but I know it will all be great.

Because Sister Halterman is leaving though, we have had a million appointments this week with members so that everyone can say goodbye. It has been a lot of fun but also there hasn’t been a lot of down time for things like packing, which my comp now needs to get done really fast. She packs and I clean and prep the apartment for my new companion.

The weather in Vienna is getting quite warm, but also the rain is starting up. It rains most days (or nights) and occasionally it pours. And then there is the wind and thunder – slamming windows and waking the dead. But thank goodness I am waterproof and so is my bag, so we are surviving. On the plus side, it makes the sky look beautiful.

I hope you all are doing well and have a great week!

Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
