Guten Tag!!
This past week has been beautiful, mostly since it has rained some which has brought the temperature down. Thank goodness, this humidity is really getting to me! The rain also helps with allergies a little bit, bringing relief to my nose and eyes.
Another beautiful thing was the opportunity to Super Tausch in Graz again! It’s kind of like a mini vacation but while still doing missionary work. While we were there, we did some street finding where we focused on the topic of families – this was because the church in the entire country of Austria is having a family themed month for June with brochures that tell what each weeks topic will be. But back to finding, I was out with Sister Prete, one of the Graz Sisters, and we walked up to this one lady sitting on a bench to ask her why she thought family was important. At first she didn’t really want to answer so instead we just made some small talk, where she’s from, what she does, etc. But then, the conversation turned back to families! She was very open with us and it gave us the opportunity to bear some awesome testimony about families, their importance and how they can be together forever. The Spirit could be felt so strongly, it was for sure the best street lesson I had ever had.
Then we made the long train ride home. Then a couple more days of appointments and finding and contacting before Saturday when a little girl in our ward got baptized and Sunday when we had our Ward Conference, both of which one of our new friends came to!
Now there is only one more week until transfers again, and on Saturday I will know who my new companion will be since Sistet Halterman is going home. I’m sad that she’s leaving, but also excited to meet my new comp and keep moving forward.
