Week 16

Zone Conference!!

Posted by Kezia Tripp on Tuesday, May 24, 2022

Guten Tag!!

This week had lots and lots of travel. Starting with a visa appointment on Thursday in Munich (about 5 hours each way) and then Zone Conference on Friday in Neumarkt (about 2.5 hours each way). But, both were very worth it for different reasons. I’m grateful that now I have a visa woo-hoo! and I’m also grateful for all the words of wisdom we received from President Naatjes.

This Zone Conference focused a lot on the ward mission plan, a very important thing that sadly not every ward has. It is a great resource for leading missionary work within the ward and creating a way for us missionaries to better support the ward I’m their efforts. This way we can be unified since unity brings immeasurable strength.

Besides the ward mission plan, President spoke a lot about mercy, a sometimes difficult thing. We want to make sure that our goodness is not as the morning dew, going away as the sun comes out, but rather that we are constantly and cheerfully merciful to others. For it is the merciful who will obtain mercy at that last day. Some good stuff.

Then other things: my comp and I sang at Zone Conference, we spoke at church on Sunday, we went on a hike with some of our ward Relief Society (that we did not know was going to be a hike), and we were able to go to the theater last P-day.

That’s all for this week folks. :)

Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
