Week 15

100 days!

Posted by Kezia Tripp on Tuesday, May 17, 2022

Guten Tag!!

We made it 100 days! Or, almost. 100 days tomorrow. But still 99 days of being a missionary and it has been such an amazing adventure.

This week was filled with lots of appointments, and only 2 were canceled! (That’s pretty good) It was great seeing some of our regular friends as well as some newer ones. We have one new friend who volunteers at a second hand shop on Mondays so we try and stop by every week to see him. He is very open to discussing religion and is very actively asking questions and researching answers, but also confirming those answers with us. He has accepted a copy of the Book of Mormon and is excited to keep reading it, he’s already 12 chapters in. Our discussions are always very interesting and I can’t wait to see what is in the future for him.

Along with our friends, we have been spending lots of time with the young adults, including getting to watch the World Wide Devotional for Young Adults with President and Sister Nelson. It was so cool and I would highly recommend everyone watching it. One of my favorite things from it was the emphasis President Nelson gave on your number one identifier – a child of God. I still have times where I need that reminder since it is easy for it to slip my mind, but I’m going to remind you right now that YOU are a CHILD of GOD! And He loves you so much.

In other news, last P-day we hiked Schneeberg – about 10 km and beautiful! It was an absolute blast hiking it with some other missionaries in my zone, even if at times it killed me. And, of course, a million pictures were taken.

This coming week will be very busy, and hopefully all goes well! (I’ve got my visa appointment and we have Zone Conference)

I love you all! Hope you have a great week :)

Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
