Week 12

A Wedding!

Guten Tag!

This week has been so busy and full of service, it has been amazing!

Some of the projects we were able to help with include: making dinner for the institute class, assisting with food prep for a soup kitchen for Ukrainian refugees, helping a member take out her old flooring and bring it to the dump, and – the most exciting one– we were able to help out at a Polterabend for a couple in our ward that was getting married!

Austria recently lightened the mask mandate and it was the first big, busy, party without masks that I have been to in a super long time! It was an absolute blast to hang out with all the members and a couple of our friends that we invited! It was also a great way to unwind after spending 24 hours down in Graz with the Sisters there as a Tausch – lots of fun and lots of street finding.

I am very grateful for all the opportunities I have to serve those around me, both the big projects and the small helps. I know during these times that God is working through me to help some of His children.

I have also been able to get some baking done! We are blessed to have a lot of meal appointments, but this past week we have been at home long enough to be able to make some pizza and German chocolate cake, they were delicious.

We also went to the aquarium and have had lots of rainy days, but the weather is warming up!

Last note, transfers are tomorrow! Both my companion and I are staying here, but several missionaries in our district/zone are going home or moving. It is sad to see them go, but also exciting to see what is in store for us!

Liebe Grüße, Sister Tripp
