Guten Tag alle,
An insane week, but I’m sure it will calm down after this. I had an early flight out of Albuquerque Tuesday morning so we drove down to ABQ Monday. This way I could get more sleep beforehand, a covid test, and do some last minute shopping.
Monday I flew to Salt Lake City where I had a six hour layover – rough. But, some kind member couple saw me sitting alone and came over to speak with me. They gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse, getting me in to the Delta Sky Club. I was there for about 2 hours and got free lunch and drinks only in nice glasses, it was all very fancy with waiters and everything.
Then I went to my gate where I met a bunch of missionaries going to Norway. They had already been serving for several months in Utah but their visas had finally been approved. Then slowly the missionaries headed to the MTC with me started showing up.
It was so great to finally meet my district in person, they are all such great people!! All my flights were also fine. I had all my documents and was able to sleep for about half of my 10 hour flight.
Then the MTC. Honestly it’s been great. The food is good, even if I have to add salt, and I love my teachers. There are a few things I’ll need to get used to, but otherwise I am very happy there.
